St. Michael School has many ways for individuals and families to help. We ask each family to take part in at least two of these events to support the school’s ongoing success.

CASE Training Requirement

  • To volunteer for any school activity, you must complete the CASE training program (video + questionnaire).

Major Fundraisers

Event Chair Details / Participation
Turkey Trot 5K Walk/Run Erika Stork () Held Thanksgiving Day. Includes children’s fun run. Families help promote, take sponsorships, provide volunteers for course support and concessions.
Dinner Circles — Hosts choose venue and date (usually Fall). Host dinner; guests donate ~$50 per plate.
Second Collections — Quarterly in Our Lady of the Lakes Parish (St. Michael’s, St. Januarius, St. Patrick’s, St. Theresa’s). Students in uniform are encouraged to serve.
Cash Bash Heather Griffiths () April event at Wagner Restaurant. Families asked to sell two $100 tickets.
Bike the Bluff Sally Prather (), Eileen Wunder () Held in June at Keuka College. Distances range from 2 to 30 miles. Volunteers needed for planning, water stations, cheering, etc.

Labels for Education & Box Tops Heather Tillman / Erika Holland Ongoing at school. Collect and count labels and box tops.
Innisbrook Catalog Sale — September. Families promote and coordinate orders.
Seasons of Change Erika Stork () January. Students collect loose change by classroom.
Mission Day — Week of Catholic Schools. Students donate to play games and raise funds for charity.
Easter Candy Sale Rachael Robak () Jan‑Feb. Families sell; delivery in March.
